This menu of performance-based design options was developed as a visual aid to assist in communicating FEMA P-58 performance measures to decision makers in the design process, and communicating performance-based design concepts to other stakeholders. It shows the range of earthquake consequences that can be calculated using the FEMA P-58 methodology and how they might vary for different types of buildings.
